A dramatic crash in Kitchener that saw a vehicle slam into an LCBO remains under investigation.
Photos posted to social media on Monday showed a red car damaged the exterior window of an LCBO and the car’s rear-end came to rest on top of another vehicle.
A spokesperson with the Waterloo Regional Police Service confirmed they were called to the LCBO parking lot on Fairway Road South just after 2 p.m. on Monday.
It’s reported the 90-year-old female driver lost control of her vehicle, struck and mounted another car, struck a pole, and drove into the liquor store.
In an update issued on Tuesday afternoon, police confirmed the woman’s injuries were minor. No one else was hurt as a result of the single-vehicle crash.
The investigation into the collision is ongoing by the WRPS Traffic Services Unit.
