Police investigate possible assault at Summerfest in St Marys

Police in Stratford are looking for more information following what the service is calling a potential assault at the Summerfest Festival and Concert.

The event took place at Milt Dunnell Park, commonly known as “The Flats”, in the Town of St Marys on the weekend of July 25.

Police were called shortly after midnight on July 26 to reports a man was unconscious by the bathrooms.

“The male was location nearby the portable washrooms in the park and was transported to hospital by Perth County Paramedics where he was treated for an injury to his head and later released.”

Investigators believe this may have been an assault.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
