Six years later OPP continue to look for answers in Guelph homicide case

It’s been six years since Mohamed Amin Ismail’s body was found north of Guelph, since police started looking for answers surrounding his death.
On the sombre anniversary, Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) once again asked for any information on the mysterious case.
“Investigators remain dedicated to finding those responsible for Mohamed’s death. If you have information, no matter how small or seemingly unrelated, now is the time to come forward,” said Detective Inspector Michael Moore.
“Your information could make a critical difference in this investigation and bring much-needed answers to Mohamed’s loved ones.”
On August 4, 2020, Ismail’s body was found on the side of Watson Road North, south of Wellington Road 124, shortly after 7:00 p.m.
The 25-year-old was from the Ottawa area.
Investigators are appealing to residents in Wellington County, Waterloo Region and Ottawa who may have information.
