Guelph man arrested in voyeurism investigation at townhouse complex

A Guelph man has been arrested following a voyeurism investigation at a south-end townhouse complex.
The investigation started in early June after police were called to the complex on Gordon Street.
A female resident told officers she had repeatedly seen someone outside of her window.
Another resident then notified police that they had witnessed a man peering into a window while someone was inside changing their clothes.
The following month, a suspect was allegedly captured on motion-activated surveillance a number of times.
According to police, the man was looking into units where young women live, and in one case, could be seen committing an indecent act.
Before the long weekend, police arrested a 24-year-old Guelph man who has been charged with two counts of voyeurism and two counts of criminal harassment.
The accused has not been identified and is set to appear in court Aug. 14.
