Early bird winner receives cash as grand prize grows in Farwell4Hire 50/50

By Erin Anderson

It’s proof that it pays to give, at least in the Farwell4Hire 50/50 campaign.

The final early bird prize was handed out on Friday on The Mike Farwell Show.

Mike Farwell was joined by Erik Kuttis of TLC Pet Food to announce that Kathryn Fedy was the lucky recipient of $2,500 cash.

TLC Pet Food provided the early bird prize and is a presenting partner in the 50/50, alongside 570 NewsRadio.

Fedy is also entered for the Grand Prize Draw which is happening Tuesday, June 30 at 12:15 p.m.

The take home prize is really taking off and you can get your tickets by clicking here.

Farwell is pulling out all the stops to raise the jackpot for Cystic Fibrosis Canada, and one lucky winner.

He’s promised to put aside his pride as a lifelong Leafs fan and don a Montreal Canadiens jersey while diving into the spiciest hot wings he can find live on his show; that’s only if the take home prize hits $75,000.

If the prize reaches $100,000, he’ll make the Habs his team and cheer them on for the NHL season. For $125,000, he’ll shamefully wear the Habs jersey while marching in the K-W Oktoberfest Thanksgiving Day parade.
