Peeping Tom suspect surrenders to Guelph police for changeroom incident

Guelph police say a man has turned himself in after an incident in which someone held a phone under a change room door while a young woman was trying on clothes inside.

This all began back in September 2025, at Stone Road Mall.

A 20-year-old woman told police she spotted the phone under the door, came out, and confronted the man who was right there.

Police said he denied doing anything wrong and left the mall.

But officers said after they sent out his photo, several people came forward to identify him.

The 20-year-old man came to a police station Tuesday evening, was arrested, and now faces one count of voyeurism.
