The Kitchener Rangers are the best in the west after a 4-1 win over the Sarnia Sting on Tuesday night.
It was an impressive defensive performance from the Blueshirts that held the Sting to just one shot in the first period and 12 on the night.
The win vaulted the Rangers into first place in the Western Conference, tied on points with the Flint Firebirds and Windsor Spitfires.

“That’s a good thing, but there’s still plenty of games to go, plenty of games left,” said Rangers Head Coach Jussi Ahokas. “We just want to be in the best situation when the playoffs start.”
