A 17-year-old girl from Wellington County was arrested on Friday after ramming into multiple police cruisers with her vehicle while impaired.
Guelph police learned from another police service just before 10 p.m. about a vehicle that had rammed into two cruisers when they attempted to perform a traffic stop.
Officers located the girls vehicle in a parking lot off of Woodlawn Road East, but when officers approached, she attempted to flee before colliding with a fence.
Police used their cruiser to pin the vehicle in place in order to make the arrest.
The girl had three other passengers in the vehicle, but there were no injuries reported in the incident.
After being transported to the station, police found that she had more than the legal amount of alcohol in her system.
She was charged with impaired driving, dangerous driving, failing to stop after a collision, flight from police and will appear in court on Jan. 28.
