Owen Sound coming to town for Rangers’ festive Holiday Game

After a lengthy roadtrip, the Kitchener Rangers are making their way home once again to the Kitchener Aud, set to welcome the Owen Sound Attack for the team’s big Holiday Game.

The Rangers are at home after what was a rough roadtrip, finishing with 4 losses on the record books, ending on a high note with a win against the Sarnia Sting 5-2.

Friday’s game marks the last game before teams enter their Christmas break, with the next game for the Blueshirts not scheduled until Sunday, Dec. 28, against the Erie Otters.

The team’s festive Holiday Game will be the team’s first game at The Aud in 2 weeks, where the team defeated the Peterborough Petes in a 6-3 contest.

The East Avenue Blue enter into their Holiday Game sitting pretty in the standings, holding the number 1 spot in the Midwest Division, 2nd place in the Western Conference, and 6th in overall standings.

Puck drop against Owen Sound is set for 7:00 p.m., and all the action can be caught live on 570 NewsRadio, beginning with the pre-game show at 6:30 p.m.
