Pedestrian dies after crash in Cambridge, police investigating

A pedestrian has died after she was struck by a vehicle in Cambridge on Thursday.

Regional police said the crash was reported shortly after noon in the intersection of Industrial Road and Langs Drive.

The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital in life-threatening condition, officials said, where she succumbed to her injuries.

The pedestrian has been identified as a 34-year-old Cambridge woman.

Police told 570 NewsRadio the driver of the Honda CRV involved in the collision stayed at the scene.

There’s no word yet on possible charges, because the collision is still under investigation.
