The City of Cambridge is inviting the public to “step into the world of The Handmaid’s Tale” with a new exhibition and tour.
It’s called Under His Eye: The Gilead Experience and it begins Oct. 22.
Iconic props and costumes from the award-winning series are coming to Cambridge City Hall and the Cambridge Centre for the Arts.
The memorabilia is being borrowed from Take 5 Productions and will be on display until Nov. 6.
Maps will also be available at city hall and online as part of a self-guided tour of key filming locations around Cambridge.
The self-guided tour will highlight filming locations in the series, like Commander Waterford’s office and the striking red cloaks to Queen’s Square and the banks of the Grand River.
“The tour and exhibition will give visitors a unique opportunity to see the city through the lens of the film industry,” the press release reads.
