Shooting in Cambridge neighbourhood under investigation

Waterloo regional police are investigating a reported shooting in a Cambridge neighbourhood, but say the exact timing of the incident is unclear.

Police were called Oct. 15 about shots ringing out in the Dellgrove Circle and Baintree Way area sometime between Oct. 10 and Oct. 12.

No injuries were reported resulting from the shooting, which is believed to be targeted.

Police confirmed to 570 NewsRadio there was no property damage from the shooting, and that it happened in the residential area, not on the nearby walking trail.

Investigators want to hear from anyone with information on the incident, including those with potential video footage.
