Rangers defend against Attack on Oktoberfest night at The Aud

The Kitchener Rangers are hosting a Bavarian-themed Friday night game at The Aud against the Owen Sound Attack.

The Blueshirts are looking to bounce back after a 5-2 defeat to Owen Sound at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre last Saturday.

In that loss, the Rangers conceded four power-play goals and failed to score on the man advantage.

The Attack is one of only two teams that have yet to lose an OHL game this season, holding a 4-0 record heading into this contest.

Onkel Hans and Tante Frieda will be cheering on the Kitchener Rangers at the game, along with a number of Oktoberfest-themed decorations and activities.

People can bring a non-perishable food item to The Aud to support The Food Bank, as they try to stuff the Rangers bus full of donated food.

Next, the Rangers head out on a three-game road trip starting in Flint on Wednesday.

Catch all the action on 570 NewsRadio with Mike Farwell and Josh Piercey starting at 6:30 p.m.
