Suspect wanted in Kitchener after young girl approached

Waterloo Regional Police are on the lookout for a man in a suspicious vehicle after a young girl was approached in Kitchener.

It happened on July 17 around 1 p.m. in the area of Monarch Woods Drive and Mossgrove Road.

The driver, an unknown man, allegedly approached the girl and briefly interacted with her. No physical injuries were reported. Police also suspect there was a male passenger in the car at the time.

The vehicle is described as a black Mercedes CLS400 with tinted front and rear windows.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
