Fraud incidents at financial institutions across region under investigation

Waterloo Regional Police Service is investigating a series of fraud incidents that have occurred at various financial institutions across the region.

Police say between June 20 and 26, an unknown man visited four different financial institutions across Kitchener and Waterloo. he allegedly presented fraudulent documents to withdraw funds.

Investigators are looking to identify and speak with the man shown in the photos.

The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact police at 519-570-9777 or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers.
