Once again, Mike Farwell is giving cystic fibrosis research a much-needed cash injection, and celebrating an exciting milestone for his annual campaign.

Farwell made the announcement Wednesday morning that $233,334 was raised through the 2025 Farwell4Hire campaign.

That includes $121,000 raised through the 50/50 draw, as well as more than $110,000 in community fundraising.

Mike Farwell announces fundraising total

“Only one time in our past have we raised over $200,000 in a campaign, and that was back in COVID times when we ran the campaign for two months.” said Farwell.

“This is the second time we’ve gone over $200,000, and the most we have ever raised – 12 years in when you wonder ‘do we keep trying? Do we do it again?’ Well, we did it again, and so did you: a record campaign total of $233,334!”

Late May, Jeff Wenzel, from Kitchener, took home $121,770, in the Farwell4Hire 50/50 jackpot.
