Police investigating Kitchener stabbing that sent one person to hospital

Regional police are investigating a stabbing in Kitchener that sent a Cambridge man to hospital.

According to Waterloo Regional Police (WRPS), the incident took place on Saturday evening at around 9:10 p.m. in the area of Madeleine Street and Maitland Street.

A 21-year-old Cambridge man was located with non-life-threatening injuries and taken to hospital.

Investigators believe that the incident was isolated and that both the victim and the suspect are known to one another.
