Shots fired at Galt house in targeted gunfire incident: police

The latest incident of gunfire in Waterloo Region has left bullet holes in a house in a Galt neighbourhood.

Waterloo Regional Police responded to a weapons call around 6:30 p.m. Sunday after a shooting in the area of Malcolm Street and Roseview Avenue.

According to regional police, an unidentified person fired multiple shots into a house before running away on foot.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

Early Monday morning, police tape and two marked police cruisers were visible outside a house on Roseview Avenue.

Police continue to investigate the incident and will remain in the area.
