WRPS investigates motorcycle collision in North Dumfries Township

Waterloo Regional Police Service’s Traffic Unit is investigating a motorcycle collision that happened in North Dumfries Township.
Around 3:25 p.m. on June 7, emergency services responded to reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and a Dodge vehicle at the intersection of Dumfries Road and Rife Road.
The driver of the motorcycle suffered serious physical injuries. The 41-year-old male was transported by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services to a local hospital.
The driver of the Dodge, an 84-year-old male, was not injured.
The intersection was closed for part of the investigation but has since reopened. The investigation remains ongoing and police say charges are anticipated.
