Charity festival brings Canadian rock to Kitchener this summer

Classic Canadian rock is coming to Kitchener this summer, with proceeds going to helping those in need.

Songscape Music Festival is taking over the space just outside of The Aud on June 20 and 21.

BC rock group Theory of a Deadman are kicking off the two-day festival, followed by performances from Burlington’s Finger Eleven and Headstones, a punk-rock band from Kingston.

Then on day two, the festival will turn alternative rock with performances from Bahamas, Mother Mother, and Good Kid.

Proceeds from the event will go to the Grand River Hospital Foundation and the Awesome Music Project.

Tickets are available at songscape.ca.
