Region of Waterloo Public Health added another location to its list of potential public exposure to measles locations on Thursday.

It’s the emergency department at WRHN @ Midtown at 835 King St. W., which was recently renamed from Grand River Hospital.

The timeframe of concern is Monday, April 14 at 6:30 p.m. to Tuesday, April 15 at 3 a.m.

Anyone who was inside the hospital between those hours is advised to monitor for symptoms until May 5.

It’s the second time there’s been a potential public exposure at the hospital. The first occurred on March 29 in the emergency department.

The first local measles case was reported on March 21. Since then, the total has grown to 17.
