Regional police make arrest in criminal harassment investigation

Waterloo regional police arrested someone in an ongoing criminal harassment case.

Police say they received three reports of incidents of a man harassing victims while using public transit in Kitchener. The incidents happened between Feb. 14 and March 16.

A 34-year-old man from Cambridge has now been charged with one count of sexual assault and three counts of criminal harassment.

The accused was held for a bail hearing and the investigation is still ongoing by the WRPS special victims unit.
