Police make three more arrests in North Dumfries ‘chop shop’ investigation
Waterloo Regional Police have made three more arrests, stemming from an investigation into a chop shop, that was taken down in North Dumfries.
Back in November, police found 52 stolen high-end vehicles in the township, through a chop shop that was operating out of a business on Darrell Drive.
It’s believed the operation had been running for about a month, and that vehicle parts were being shipped overseas.

The value of the recovered vehicles was estimated at 4-million-dollars, and initially, three men were arrested. A 73-year-old and a 36-year-old from Cambridge, and a 29-year-old from North Dumfries.
On Wednesday, police arrested three more men. A 37-year-old from Kitchener and two Hamilton men in their forties.
All three are facing charges relating to organized crime including, possession of stolen property over $5,000 and trafficking stolen property over $5,000.
