Vehicle goes airborne in Waterloo landing on parked cars; impaired charges laid

A Cambridge driver is facing an impaired driving charge after a wild and slippery crash in Waterloo.
Waterloo Regional Police tell 570 NewsRadio it happened around 2:30, Thursday morning, near Bridgeport Road East and Moore Avenue North.
Police say a vehicle went off the road, hitting a snowbank, went airborne, struck more snow, then slid down a pathway, and landed on top of three parked cars.

A pair of passengers, both 23 years old, went to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The 28-year-old driver was arrested at the scene and charged with impaired operation.
Police would like to hear from any witnesses.
