Winter weather travel advisory issued for Waterloo Region, heavy snow Wednesday

The winter woes continue for commuters in Waterloo Region – with a winter weather travel advisory now in effect.

The advisory calls for 5-10 cm of snowfall throughout the day today, stretching into Wednesday evening.

Environment Canada is also warning of brief bursts of heavy flurries and strong wind gusts near 70 km/hr.
