Three vehicles hit in Guelph, three times the blood alcohol legal limit for the driver arrested

Three parked vehicles, badly damaged in Guelph, and about three times the legal limit of alcohol in the blood of the driver arrested.

Guelph Police say a call came in around 6:00, Sunday evening, for a crash on Auden Road, near Victoria Road North and York Road.

Officers found three vehicles with severe damage, and a fourth with only moderate damage.

Police say no one was hurt.

Officers spoke with a driver at the scene, smelled alchohol on his breath, and put him under arrest and took him to the station for more testing.

Police say “he had close to three times the legal amount of alcohol in his system.”

The 52-year-old was charged with impaired driving, and dangerous driving.
