Collision with bus in Woolwich Township under investigation by regional police

Regional police are investigation a collision that shut down a road for several hours in Woolwich Township.

On Dec. 8, around 12:12 a.m. emergency services responded to Listowel Road after receiving reports of a collision involving a transport truck and a bus. Investigators say the truck lost control when it entered heavy snow; driving into oncoming traffic and colliding with a bus. Police say a third vehicle was also impacted in the crash.

Passengers on the bus reported minor physical injuries and were treated at local hospitals.

Listowel Road was closed for several hours as police conducted an investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact regional police.
