Police arrest Cambridge man following armed robbery at convenience store

Two days after a convenience store was robbed in Cambridge police, have made an arrest.

The robbery happened Monday night just before 10:30 p.m. in the area of Water Street and Myers Road.

According to police a robber with a gun walked into the store and demanded cash and merchandise.

The accused then fled the area on foot, and no one was hurt.

On Wednesday, officers arrested a 57-year-old Cambridge man who is now facing several charges including robbery with a firearm, and breach of probation.

He was then held for a bail hearing.
