Picture perfect: Santa Claus is comin’ to local malls

If you’re looking for a photo for this year’s Christmas cards, you don’t have to wait long to snap a pic with Santa.

Mr. Claus will set up shop at CF Fairview Park mall starting Friday, Nov. 15.

It’s going to be walk-ins only this year at the Kitchener mall so everyone can meet Santa on a first-come, first-served basis.

At Conestoga Mall in Waterloo, Santa’s Magical Fairy Garden opens Saturday, Nov. 16. There will also be two sensory-friendly Santa dates on Nov. 24 and Dec. 8.

Registration for all the Conestoga Mall photo opportunities officially open online on Wednesday, Nov. 13, although some are already getting a head start.

However, you don’t have to wait to book a spot for Cambridge Centre.

Santa will be at that mall starting Saturday, Nov. 30 and while you can already reserve your spot, walk-up visits will also be permitted based on availability.

There’s also good news for pet parents, as photo opportunities for festive four-legged friends will be happening at Conestoga Mall on Dec. 1 and Dec. 15, and at Cambridge Centre Dec. 3 and Dec. 10.
