Investigation underway after collision in Woolwich Township
A two-vehicle collision in Woolwich Township has prompted police to launch an investigation.
Waterloo Regional Police say the collision occurred on Oct. 12, around 11 a.m., when a Hyundai sedan collided with a Chevrolet SUV on Arthur St. S. in Woolwich Township.
WRPS’ Traffic Services Unit is now investigating the crash, which sent the driver of the Chevrolet, a 59-year-old woman, and the 56-year-old passenger to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Hyundai, a 24-year-old man, also sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say a portion of the road was closed for several hours during the initial investigation, and officers are still investigating the exact causes of the collision.
