On Wednesday, a pair of people were struck within just a few hours of each other. One woman was struck at a parking lot on Edinburgh Road, and another was hit on Gordon Street at College Avenue.

On Tuesday, a man crossing the street at Imperial Road and Woodlawn Road was also hit by a vehicle.

Police added that fortunately, these incidents only led to minor injuries, but just a few weeks ago, a 72-year-old woman was killed after being struck by a vehicle at a business on Eramosa Road.

The police service is urging road users to use caution when driving and to be aware of their surroundings.
