Revenge will be on the minds of the East Avenue Blue when they travel to Flint to take on the Firebirds tonight.
Last Friday, the Kitchener Rangers lost a heartbreaker on Oktoberfest night, falling 2-1 to Flint in overtime.
Since that loss, the Rangers have won two in a row and will look to keep the ball rolling.
They’re likely to have a couple of more weapons at their disposal. Trent Swick, a 6’7″ winger, is expected to rejoin the club after spending the last couple of weeks at Vegas Golden Knights training camp. The 19-year-old was a 6th-round pick for the Golden Knights in last year’s NHL entry draft.

The Rangers are also expected to see the debut of newly acquired defenceman Jakub Chromiak. The 18-year-old from Ilava, Slovakia was picked-up in a trade with the Kingston Frontenacs on Monday, along with a 2026 draft pick belonging to the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.
Going the other way, a 7th-round pick in 2028 and a conditional 8th-round pick in 2027.
After their tilt in Flint, the Blueshirts will travel north to tangle with the Greyhounds in The Soo on Friday night, before heading back across the border to face the defending Memorial Cup Champion Saginaw Spirit on Saturday night.
570 NewsRadio will have all the action, live with Mike Farwell and Paul Fixter.
The pre-game show begins at 6:30 p.m.
