Police are still trying to piece together what led to a fatal single-vehicle crash in Kitchener that saw a woman struck by her own vehicle.
The crash happened Sunday around 4:30 p.m. in the Activa Avenue and Bridlewreath Street area and a 67-year-old Waterloo woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
A spokesperson for the Waterloo Regional Police Service said the cause of the crash remains under investigation, including the specifics of how the woman was hit by her own car, but it’s believed it rolled over her.
