Serious injuries reported, air ambulance called after collision with parked vehicle in Kitchener

Regional police continue to investigate a collision in Kitchener that saw one man seriously injured, prompting a call to Ornge air ambulance.

It was around 5:20 a.m. on Sunday when police were called alongside emergency services to a collision in the area of Emerald Avenue and Prospect Avenue.

It’s alleged that crash involved a Nissan vehicle and a parked vehicle.

The driver of the Nissan, identified as a 35-year-old Kitchener man, was taken to hospital via air ambulance with serious injuries.

Police have said that charges are anticipated.
