Brant Road South reopens following two-vehicle crash south of Cambridge

A busy route for the drive between Cambridge and Brantford was closed Thursday morning, following a serious collision involving a passenger vehicle and a transport truck.

It was around 7:30 a.m. on Thursday when OPP notified the public of a closure on Brant Road between McLean School Road and Howell Road, closing the roadway.

The OPP say five people were injured in the collision and taken to hospital. Two of those individuals are said to have sustained serious injuries.

The roadway fully reopened after several hours around 1 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
