Minor injuries after single-vehicle crash in Elmira

A stretch of Northfield Drive was closed in Elmira late Monday afternoon because of a collision.

Police announced the closure between Tilman Road and Sandy Hills Drive around 5:30 p.m.

A spokesperson with the Waterloo Regional Police Service confirmed it was due to a single-vehicle crash.

The involved vehicle reportedly struck a hydro pole and minor injuries were sustained.

There was no reopening time known for Northfield Drive in the area as hydro repairs continued.

ROAD CLOSURE:

Currently responding to a collision on Northfield Drive.

Northfield Drive is closed between Tilman Road and Sandy Hills Road for repairs to a hydro pole.
