Waterloo woman facing long list of charges after impaired driving incident

An impaired driving incident in Waterloo last night has left a 25-year-old facing a long list of charges.
According to Waterloo Regional Police, the incident happened around 10:30 p.m. in the area of Beechwood Drive and Erb Street.
The driver lost control of her vehicle and left the roadway, striking a mailbox.

The woman then got back on the roadway and fled the scene.
No one was hurt in the incident.
The 25-year-old Waterloo woman was charged with operation while impaired, dangerous operation, failure to remain and failure to present a valid driver’s licence.
Police are looking to speak with any witnesses and see any dashcam footage of the incident.
