Waterloo collision results in vehicle fire, police investigating

Waterloo Regional Police are investigating after a collision in Waterloo led to a vehicle fire and a road closure.

According to police, it happened around 12:30 p.m. on Frobisher Dr. between Superior Dr. and Bridge St.

Officers responded to a two-vehicle collision in the area and found both vehicles had caught fire as a result of the collision.

Minor injuries were reported, and the investigation is ongoing.

Police have not indicated if there will be any charges in relation to the incident.

Frobisher Dr. was closed while police investigated.
