Kitchener man wanted on Canada-wide warrant in connection to April shooting

Waterloo Regional Police have arrested one man and issued a Canada-wide warrant for the arrest of another man in connection to a Kitchener shooting.
According to police, the shooting took place on April 30 at around 12:40 p.m. in the area of Mill Park Drive and Green Valley Drive.
When officers arrived, they found a 35-year-old man with a gunshot wound. He was transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.

As part of the ongoing investigation, police searched a residence in Kitchener on May 28 and arrested a 39-year-old Kitchener man who was charged with accessory after the fact and held in police custody.
Police are now searching for 36-year-old Justin Orr, wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for attempt murder, failure to comply with judicial release and possession of a firearm contrary to a prohibition order.
According to police, Orr was last seen on May 22 near Cedar Street North and Fergus Avenue in Kitchener.
Police added that Orr is considered armed and dangerous, warning the public not to approach him but call 9-1-1 immediately if seen.
