Regional council passes numerous road safety improvements on regional roads
Regional council has approved a number of road safety improvements in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and Woolwich.
Four new pedestrian crossovers will be added on Courtland Avenue, Frederick Street and Queen Street at Joseph Schneider Haus Trail crossing in Kitchener, as well as St. Andrews Street in Cambridge. A new school bus loading zone will also be added on Frederick Street in front of Suddaby Public Street.
The speed limit on Bleams Road between Fischer-Hallman Road and Trussler Road will be reduced from 70km/hr to 50km/hr to help with the recommended design of the Bleams Road reconstruction project.
