64-year-old man airlifted to hospital with serious ‘injuries’ following Cambridge collision

A 64-year-old man was airlifted to an out-of-region hospital on Friday afternoon with serious injuries after colliding with an SUV in Cambridge.
According to Waterloo Regional Police, it happened at around 2:30 p.m. on King St. East in Cambridge when a Nissan SUV collided with the motorcycle.
A portion of King St. East in Cambridge was closed for an extended period. but has since reopened.

The driver of the Nissan, a 58-year old Kitchener man, was not injured.
Police say charges are anticipated. They’re asking anyone with dash-cam footage of the incident to reach out to them at 1-800-222-8477.
