Police investigating e-bike collision, driver suffering serious injuries

Regional Police are sorting through the details of an e-bike collision in Kitchener that sent one person to hospital with serious injuries.
According to police, it happened around 6:00 p.m., Sunday, at Krug Street and Becker Street, near the Highway 8 overpass.
The 22-year-old Kitchener man driving the bike was sent to an out-of-region hospital for treatment.
The 17-year-old driver was not hurt — police do not specify the size or type of that vehicle.
The investigation kept part of Krug closed for several hours but, it has since reopened.
