Cambridge woman dies after crash on Pinebush Road

A Cambridge woman was killed after a crash on Friday morning.

Police responded to a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian just after 6:30 a.m. on Friday on Pinebush Road at Struck Court.

The 23-year-old pedestrian was taken to a local hospital initially before being air-lifted to a different hospital. On Saturday, police reported that the woman had died.

Pinebush Road was closed between High Ridge Court and Franklin Boulevard for the collision investigation, but has since reopened.

Police are anticipating that charges will be laid, and are continuing to investigate. Any witnesses are asked to contact police at 519-570-9777.
