Power restored in Southdale neighbourhood

Power has been restored for about all customers in Kitchener.

Just over 1,800 customers were without power earlier this morning, as crews with Enova Power Corp. responded to a reported outage in the Southdale area of Kitchener. That is in the Homer Watson Boulevard and Highway 7/8 area.

The estimated time of restoration changed during the outage.

Enova Power listed the cause of the outage as equipment failure.
