Rangers’ Rehkopf scores twice in Canada’s 10-0 rout of Latvia
Kitchener Rangers forward Carson Rehkopf continued to shine at the IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship with two goals in Canada’s 10-0 victory over Latvia Wednesday.
Rehkopf scored 4:46 into the second period with an assist from Macklin Celebrini, who is projected to be the first overall pick in the 2024 NHL draft. He scored again at 6:18 in the third period with another assist from Celebrini and Jordan Dumais.
Canada won 10-0 against Latvia on Wednesday outshooting them 41-22.

Rehkopf leads the OHL in goals with 31 and is tied with teammate Hunter Brzustewicz with the most points at 55 each.
Canada’s next game will be against host team Sweden at 1:30 p.m. on Friday.
