ION service resumes through K-W following morning crash

ION train service has resumed its regular schedule following a late morning crash on Monday.

That collision occurred between an SUV and an ION train in the area of King Street West and Agnes Street.

Grand River Transit had reported ION trains were halted between Willis Way / Waterloo Public Square and Kitchener Market Station, with service reduced to a single track in other parts of the line.

Full service for ION LRT riders has since been restored.
