Police investigate serious crash involving motorcycle in Cambridge

Police continue to investigate after a collision in Cambridge that involved a motorcycle and a sedan.

Waterloo Regional Police announced over the noon hour on Wednesday that officers were on scene in the Hespeler Road and Bishop Street area.

Northbound lanes were closed on Hespeler Road at Bishop Street, but reopened a few hours later.

The two-vehicle crash occurred just before 12 p.m. and the motorcyclist, a 59-year-old Cambridge man, was taken to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.

No one else was hurt in the collision and police asked any witnesses, including those with dash cam video, to contact them.
