Waterloo stabbing sends one person to hospital

Regional Police are investigating a Wednesday night stabbing in Waterloo that put one person in hospital.
The incident happened around 7:10 p.m. in the area of Westmount Road North and Father David Bauer Drive.
A 57-year-old woman was found with a stab wound and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A 27-year-old man has been arrested and is facing charges of assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The man and woman involved know each other.
