Waterloo Region and Guelph place in top ten of safest Canadian metropolitan areas: report

Some good news for those living in Waterloo Region and Guelph.

According to rental housing site, Rentola, we live in pretty safe communities.

The City of Guelph and Waterloo Region (listed at Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge) have been ranked in the top ten, on the site’s list of the Safest Canadian Metropolitan Areas.

Guelph ranked third behind Barrie and Brantford. Waterloo Region came in tenth.

The data takes into account various safety elements of communities, including police forces, efficient emergency response, and community engagement initiatives.
