Arrest made following hate-related incidents in Cambridge
A 59-year-old Cambridge man is facing several charges in relation to hate-related incidents around Main Street and Ainslie Street.
It was on June 1 when police received calls about a man removing Pride signs from business windows in the area.
That man also allegedly made threatening comments to harm others at another nearby business shortly afterward.

No physical injuries were reported.
As recently as Thursday, police received reports of more incidents involving theft of Pride signs from local businesses in the same area.
On Friday, a police investigation resulted in the arrest of that 59-year-old man.
The accused has since been charged with the following:
- Mischief under $5,000 (six counts)
- Uttering Threats to Cause Death.
That Cambridge man was held in police custody for a bail hearing.
